Is there a way to copy data to clipboard without using the IE plugin?

Our users like to copy the contents of a cell to the clipboard and then paste it into other applications.  We have been doing this using the Qlikview IE plug-in.  However, now that we are supporting hundreds of computers, installing and maintaining the plugin on all these computer is becoming problematic.  Has anyone found a work around for this?  Possibly a Qlikview Extension?

the data is exported in a .csv file opened by Excel
