Is there any trick to hide document "Table Viewer" or option to disbale "Ctl+R" ???

Hi All ,

Is there any trick to hide "Table Viewer" or option to disbale "Ctl+R" ???

Problem is i don't want to share my "Table Viewer" to my client while displaying doc from IE .

Is there any possibility of any Macro ?

Looking for some quick guidance .

Hi Bhusan,

Go to: Document Properties --> Security --> Uncheck Reload. With the help of these steps you can disable the reload option in the document while viewing the document in the desktop. I am not sure how it has to be done in the IE but I am sure that option must be there.

As per the Table Viewer is concerned. I don't know how to disable the same.

Actually instead for "Ctl+T" i wrote "Ctrl+R" .

I am also clueless about hiding "Table Viewer" . Hope somebody can help me out in this .

becoz if we are sharing to client , there definielty security gap iof they can see data model.

Hi Bhusan,

That's true! There will defiantly a security issue. Till now I never come across hiding the Table Viewer. This issue can be best answered by QlikSupport. So I recommend you to talk to them and let me know the solution too if you get it any.

go to -> add or remove button on design toolbar -> Design->disable table viewer button.

Though we can hide the the icon 'Table Viewer ' like that, still its possible to see the Data model using CTRL+T .... Isn't it?

yes you are right. actually i never tried that Ctrl+t. as i'm quite new in qlikview.
