Joining Tables based on Start date and End dates and a data field?

Hi,

    I am trying to build a data model with 10 tables approx which all have a start date and end date and a personnel number as common fields. It is SAP HR data. Personnel number is common field to join all tables but start date and end date are also important. I know about Interval match. What is the best way of joining these tables? Can we do an interval match between two date fields?

Hi Karthik, you can use extended interval match to achieve that. This is used when you have some more keys (apart from just StartDate/EndDate ) to be matched.
