Keeping straight table size fixed

After making certain selections straight table size changes and keeps on increasing or dcreasing even if move/size option is unchecked. Is there any way to keep the table size fixed?

sometimes I use a container (grid 1 x 1) and I put the table in the container: the table changes the size but the container doesn't .

I thought of this but can we add text boxes in the container and remove or hide tabs automatically created by container

Move/Size checkbox allows or prevents users from moving charts or changing their size.

If the data selections result in a chart that is smaller than the max size defined, then the chart only uses the space required to display it. It will not stretch to fill the defined size unless it is in a container.

You can also try unchecking Size to Data.

This will restrict table to increase or decrease the coordinated of the charts...

Don't think

It works if you have 1 container in grid mode (1x1) for every straight table; only the str.. table is in the container; other objects remains outside the container.

The grid container has not tab.

Disable Size to Data option in Chart Properties -> Layout tab.
