Legend in line chart not visible when trellis used.
Hi all,
I have some troubles with the legend in Qlikview version 9.0 on x64. I have a line chart with trellis (3 site locations) , two dimensions (One for trellis - site location, and second Year,Month) and four expressions (profit, budget,etc...). The legend option is on but in the chart, I can't see it. If I just disable trellis, the legend appears and if I turn trellies on again, the legend is still there. Almost perfect. Now the funny bit .... I save the file and open it again ... quess what ....legend is gone .... seems to me as a bug. Have anyone the same experience with this?
BTW : I tried to move legend with Ctrl-Shift and messed around with trellis settings (auto or 3 * 1 columns) but no luck, after I safe the file and open the chart again, the legend is not there ...
Line chart is basically to plot multiple expressions against a single dimension. If your two dimensions can be logically grouped (like project,location) , create a dimension group and use that group as the dimension. The graph will work perfectly.
