HI,

I have two list boxes having the same field. But the selection on one listbox should not be triggered or impacted to the other. Is it possible to be done?

Regards,

VJ

hi Vj

As model is connected, so if you select some value from list box 1 then automatically same thing will be selected in list box 2 as it is same field.

Hi VJ

I'm a Qlikview user for just a couple of weeks now, so am no expert.

My understanding is that the two list boxes are simply the same box displayed twice.

From my little knowledge, shoudl you not be using Set Analyis , possibly with Input Box option instead of second listbox?

Hi Joe,

I am not seeing any way for set analysis here.

Also Input box could have only one value and not multiple values.

Hi VJ

I am thinking of the options for showing records other than as a result of what is selected in the list box. Using the Set Analysis allows you to do so, but while the Input Box may give some flexibility, I don't know if it can be given same flexibility as list box.

Amyhow, you seem to have good knowledge of these features already.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Joe
