Listbox

Hi,

I have one table contains 4 fields and only 2 fields displayed  the List box and  copy paste that list box.now in front end having 2 same list boxes now my requirement is If any any selection is happened in one list box then other list box remains constant?How we approach that one?

     Detach the listbox or use alternate state.

The detach option is not available for list box it is available in charts only.

I am not exactly sure of what you are trying to accomplish, but Alternate State can enable comparative analysis in QlikView. Please see Why Comparative Analysis for more details and references on how this feature works.

As Toni says without knowing the requirement it is hard to gauge the best approach.  It may be that loading the table twice, renaming the fields a second time, would achieve what you are after.  This way you would have two data islands that would be selectable independently.

Generally though you should embrace the fact that selections in one QlikView object flow through to all other objects.  This is part of the power and beauty of QlikView!
