Loading data from an Excel spreadsheet

Folks,

Can someone tell me if there are any problems loading data from an Excel spreadsheet which is password protected ??

Don't do it, it won't work - at least it didn't work when I tested it -, not even with ODBC-Connection to Excel.

hi

If your xls file is password protected then it will give you an error cannot read biff file.

it won't work

Hi, I'm getting the same error "Cannot read BIFF file" but my .xls file is not password protected.. Would you have any suggestions on how i'm getting this error?

No problem with protected workbooks/sheets etc if you use this connector.
