I have a qvw script which creates or appends data within a qvd file. This provides a rolling window of data.
Various reports are chained to this via the management console. At some point within the follow on process the qvd file becomes locked.
When the next update cycle starts the initial qvw load file fails as it cannot update the qvd is locked and cannot be written to.
If I try to move the file the error message is: "The action cannot be completed because the file is open in qvb.exe"
Does anyone know what could have caused this? And how it can be avoided
