HI All

Some one help

Urgent !Please find the attachment of sample excel and QVW file


My requirement are as follows

In the excel i have the following fields ,  name,teast, date and location disease and i have made a key by Name &'|& Test as resultkey .

I have to show count of (result) the logic should be like, If the result fall under 3 months it should count as 1 result beyond 3months months it shoud count 2 and son on.

How this can be achieved ?..

Hi sunny when no selection has been made it has to show count of distinct result or count of just result anything is fine

Hi Sunny ,

Actually the date is available from jan to dec , if a name gets tested  on jan  then from that day till 3 months the count should be only one .( though he has visited multiple time )

As best I can tell, your file has no such repeated visits in it. I added a few. I sort the file by result and date, and if it's a different result, or more than three months have passed, then I set a counter to 1, else I set it to 0. Sum the counter and you get the number of results that "count". It might go faster on large data sets if instead of 0, you set it to null, but I wanted to be able to select my 0s.

I have no idea if I've understood your question correctly, though.
