Usually by renaming one or more fields so QV can associate the tables in only one way. Sometimes it's possible to concatenate several tables into one table and get rid of a loop that way. See for example this disussion: How to avoid such loop?

2. Using Qualify & Unqualify

4. Creation on composite keys by Autonumber functions
