MSXML

Good Day,

I have MSXML installed on one of my servers with a Windows KB prefix. I suspect the KB means it was a Windows update. Does anyone know whether and what for it is needed for Qlikview?

The only thing I could find in the QV 11 Server Reference Manual was "In order to use xmlsax Microsoft's XML parser MSXML 3.0 or higher must be installed".

Hi,

     Which version you are trying to install, or thinking to install.

     If its version 11 then I dont think you need MSXML. Have a look at the version 11 system requirement.
