Making a QV-document uneditable by the End-User

Hi,

I'd like to tune a QlikView document so that when it is publushed on the server a user would not be able to change properties, move and resize objects.

But all these functions are available in my document published on the server (see the file attached).

There is a context menu with lots of unnecessary functions available.

How can I hide this context menu?

Thank you in advance,

Larisa

I am not sure about hiding the context menu, but you can disable the options (to export to excel for example).

Right-mouse-click in a sheet, go to Properties and than to Security. You can disable a bunch of options for your end-users.

You can turn off even more options by going to your Document Properties (CTRL-ALT-D), Security tab, and deselect a bunch of things there.

Warning: Be sure to first make a safety copy before you start fooling around with security settings!!

You can also turn off exporting to Excel and printing via the server. As I do not have a server at hand, I can't check the exact tab where to go for this.

May you live in interesting times!
