Manipulations within AccessPoint

Hi all Mavens

I have Accidentally discovered to my surprise that objects in a document which is available via AccessPoint can be copied/cloned (which is OK) and then all formulations of expressions are exposed.

Is that how it is to be in QliikView?

Is there a way to lock/hide formulas in expressions when an object is cloned?

Thanks

If you want to stop them from cloning objects, you can take the permission away on the "Security" tab of "Sheet Properties".  There is also a checkbox to apply the security settings to all sheets.  Note that this will also affect what is done in developer, so if you're developing the dashboard and want to clone something, you will need to turn the permission back on.

Thanks Nicole. I am aware of that but would like to allow cloning but yet hide the expressions some of which are quite complex for the "normal" user and prevent unnecessary questions.

Hi Josh,

Gere is the sheet Security properties to uncheck and Apply to all.

Or you can set settings in each displayed object if you want your users copy some of the objects exist in sheets.

I'm not aware of any way to do that.

What are you trying to solve for with letting them copy the object but not be able to change it?
