Manual Calculation (newbie question)

Is there a way to turn off re-calculation of charts and other objects (like Excel's Workbook Calculation option (F9)) when making seemingly small adjustments like column widths in a straight or pivot table?  I've searched the QV Reference Manual, Google... to no avail.  Just looking for a way to speed up design.  Thanks!

You could detatch the object wich means it won't change as selections change - That may help!

right click on object then Detach

I wish it has this function, too! It can solve so much time
