Microsoft Jet OLE DB not found?

In the Developer 1 e-learning course (module 3) you're asked to connect to an Access database by selecting the Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider in a dropdown list. However it's not in my list.

How do I connect?

I'm running a 64-bit windows 7 and using the personal Qlikview license.

I believe the Jet OLE DB provider is only available as a 32bit datasource which means you have to use the 32bit version of QlikView (you can still use the 64bit OS though).

So you can't connect to an Access DB using the 64-bit version of qlikview? That seems pretty crappy.

If you download Qlikview 10 Beta there is a "force 32 bit" option that solves this problem.

That "Force 32-bit" option is so cool!

Very cool indeed. Can I have two versions of Qlikview installed or do I have to uninstall v.9?
