Hi All,
We are migrating to a new environment and the domain name will be changing.
We have moved the .shared file from the old to the new qlikview environment.
The Bookmarks are available for the "shared server bookmarks" in the Access Point. But the bookmarks which are created in the "My Server Bookmarks" are not available for the respective users in the New Environment.
I also dont see the Export option enabled in the "My Server Bookmark". Atleast with this 'Export' option, we can suggest users to export them from the old environment and again import the bookmark file back to the new environment.
Can you please suggest on these.
Thanks,
Venu
hi koushik,
The Qlikview Power Tools looks very good. Thanks.
I am able to export the BookMarks in the .shared file to XML and edit the
file in text editor.
but then how do i import them back and create a .shared file again for the
new environment.
I will be replacing the old domain name with the new domain name and then
saving the .xml file.
Any suggestions,
Thanks,
Venu

Hi,
Admin can change the owner of the bookmark from QMC.
You can try that.

Hi Kaushik,
Thanks for your response. I will check with admin team on this.
But can you please guide me, if you want all the "My server Bookmarks" to
be changed to a common shared server bookmakr by using the option you have
suggested.
or to whom should the ownership be changed to?
Any suggestions on exporting the BookMark?
Thanks,
Venu
