I just happened to browse through the developer's course from online. As a part of the course I downloaded the course material that contains all qvw files and data sources. A few chapters make use of the provided qvw files in which a binary file (qv200 - v03.qvw) is included. But this file is missing from the downloaded course material. Any idea how and where to find the file? Thanks much.
I guess the QVW document that you are referring to is "AltState-EX1". It is not missing, as an example file it can not be edited/reloaded - this is why you saw the error message.
