Mounting of Source and User Documents

For example I have Example.QVW

The Example.QVW is mounted under (D:\Deployment\....) for User Documents

Now I have created the task for the Example.QVW. Do I have to mount same location (D:\Deployment\....) in Source Document or it is not necessary ?

If the answer is not necessary then I have pointed(E:\Testing\....) for Source Document then how the users will see the updated Example.QVW in Access Point?

1. Is this the only method for Source and User Document settings or there any other method(s) ?

2. Can I mention like this

Setting for QDS(F:\Publisher Testing)

Source Folders(E:\testing). If so what is the difference ?

I will suggest that the settings for QDS, you leave as default and this should point to C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService

you just need to change the source folders.

Can I also use any drive other than C  for Source folders ?

I think it doesn't make any difference
