Move column in pivot table

Hello everyone,

On the image attached I have several columns that are dimensions. The last column (the one on the right) comes from a expression.

I would like to know how I can change the expression column to the left, to be the first column.

You can do this on a straight table, not a pivot table.

*** Note QlikView standard is to not use pivot tables as pivot tables slowes the model down by alot.

What I needed was precisely to put the expression column in the first position.

Since this cannot be done with pivot tables, I have to find another way.

I will explore another options.

I too have similar issue, I am trying to display a column under dimensions(calculated dimension) after the expression column.But it allows to drag the dimension columns in report but the Expression column header will be grayed

out dark,and it doesn't allow to change it from Last position.

Please post if you find any luck moving expression ,that might help me as well

Hi Rajesh,

That is what pivot tables in QlikView does if you try to move them infront of the dimensions.

You can not do this in a pivot table, however as stated above you can do it with a straight table in QlikView.

Thanks you for replying, but  in my table i have a measure object which should be shown across product.

for each customer.So for a single customer there can be multiple products so Straight table will show the

results as repeating customer# for diff product.But user wants to see the data in single line where Measure

is pivoted across product and also a dimension column to the end of Pivot table
