Multiple instace of a dashboard opened in server

Hi Team,

Using thhe Ajax QV version , if we open the same dashboard on two or more different tabs in the browser, any filter applied in one instance of the dashboard is applied on the other instances also. But in the Plugin version,filters are independent in the different instances of the dashboard.

I mean, Using the IE plugin link ,filters are independent in the IE browser, but through ajax client,instances are linked hence selection made in one dashboard is reflecting in the other one.

Is there any setup that can be done in the Qlikview server, so that connection between different instance does not happen in the Ajax version? or is there any way to avoid this.

Hello

I see two tings here

1) Multiple sessions.

To avoid this you must close session before you switch as highlighted below.

2) Selection Carry forward.

To avoid this make sure you clear document state as highlighted below.

If you wish to have 2 different human being sharing a communal AD User and hence QlikView CAL, then I suspect this is not allowed in your licence agreement - I'd suggest you check the legals.
