Hi, I have an nprinting job setup to connect to a CompanyA.qvw in c:\companies\CompanyA\ - it grabs TB01 from the qvw and saves it as a CompanyA.csv in that folder.
Is there an efficient way, say using variables in place of company names and all else the same, for me to make this nsq cycle through a list of companies' qvws and kick out csvs to their respective folders?
Say it would run companyA.qvw, grab TB01 from there, save to companyA\CompanyA.csv
then run companyB.qvw grab TB01 from there, save to companyB\CompanyB.csv
Or do I just need to bite the bullet and go add a hundred qlikviews and create a hundred qlikview entity reports/csv ouputs?
(I have a few years on qlikview, but only a few months of poking at nprinting when time permits, so forgive me if the answer is something obvious to a more veteran person. ).
Edit: and the qlikviews are actually all made, we're just trying to do away with people manually going through all the folders to pull files themselves as one use for nprinting.
Edit2: And it occurs to me we might've thought to make a single master qlikview a few years ago to load/transform the files to each company's need, then use nprinting filter to switch the nprinting reports from client to client. As it stands, we have a bunch of qlikviews on the network drive to consolidate and maybe I'm hoping for a way to automate that consolidation.
