Navigation Design

Hi all

I'm facing a problem about designing navigation… Well what I need to do, if it's possible of doing in QV, is put a drop-down list of links that let's me change between sheets. For that, I need to have the 'Action' tab in each of these links in order to let me handle variables.

For example, imagine that I have a master button 'Sales' and I need to change between all sheets of the Sales category. Something like this:

Sales  -> Sheet1

          -> Sheet 2

          -> Sheet 3

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

TMF

In order to be more clear about my needs, here's a photo.

I have to that and I don't know how... So, if anyone has any idea about how to do this in QV, please help me.

Kind regards,

TMF

Unfortunately there are no action handlers in field-selection QlikView objects.

In fact there are action triggers for field selections, found in Document Properties > Triggers.

Then you can use a multiple selection box object (dropdown list style) and an isolated field to perform a sheet switch in relation to its value.

I do not recommend it though, as it becomes difficult to maintain. I would try to avoid this.
