Hello! I hope someone could help me on this ...
I'm trying to get the target Qty where it's the sum of qty of all materials and Supplier that has x Supplier..
For ex in line 2 :
Material | FiscalYear | Supplier | Qty | Target Qty |
Ax | 2015 | A | 100 | 1100 |
Target qty is 1100..Since Material Ax and Bx has Supplier A, Thus, I'd like to take the sum of Material Ax and Bx...
Thank you in advance...
Could you explain the example in more details?
Hi! Robert,
Not sure If I am able to explain clearly...Anyway, let me explain further
I'm trying to get the % Supplier shipped Supplier for FiscalYear2015...In order to get this, I need to have a target Qty which is unknown at the moment... To get the target qty, I only want to sum up the qty on Materials where the certain supplier exists... In other words, I need to identify what materials has Supplier A, then I sum them up together with their other Suppliers... Based on my sample above, I only sum up the Material Ax and Bx Qty since these are only the materials that has a supplier A....Cx and Dx were excluded in the summation since these don't have Supplier A.
Below should be my final report...this time eliminating the Material column...Material column only plays a role when computing the target Qty...
Supplier | FY | Qty | Target | % Supplier |
Ax | 2015 | 500 | 1,100 | 45.5% |
Bx | 2015 | 700 | 800 | 87.5% |
Cx | 2015 | 900 | 1,100 | 81.8% |
Dx | 2015 | 200 | 300 | 66.7% |
Hope this is better ...
How would you do it in Excel? How is that relevant to SUMIF in Excel?
