Need to select another value in another field on selection of one field

Hello,

Is there a possibility in Qlikview that if I select, for example 'May' from MasterCalender's month field. it should always select 'X value' from another field from another table.

You need to create a trigger for the same but if the values are associated, there is no need to do the same.

Better helps can be provided is you can give us your sample file with exact requirements..

No the Tables are not associated that's  Why I need to make such triggers.

Sample file attached.

As per the sample file (Attached) When I select 'Jan' from Month, it should also select 'Jan' from Month1,

Tables are not associated and also I am not allowed to Attached the two tables.

I need some triggers to do that.

Hello lalit,

I have one more issue.

Initially when we were selecting Month it was selecting the corresponding value from Month1.

Now If I have one more vale in Month say 'ABC' and no corresponding value in month1. It should say all grey in month1 (Not associated.)

Its possibility is less because tables should have association to show unassociated values in grey.

Now in current case, if you select ABC in the field Month, the field Month1 will stand unassociated that's why it shows white in color.

Will try out and send you some solution.

I can understand nu my paint is I cannot Map these two tables.
