Newbie Question - publishing

Hi guys,

this is a completely newbie question so I apologise.

I have made my own qlikview model. works like a bomb and I am happy with it, but now I want to give it to my client to use. Once they purchase their desktop license, do I just give them the qvw file? or is their some special "read only" type format that I can give them so that they dont play with my scripts but still be able to pull more data
