Newbie question: How to place an image on a sheet?

OK maybe this sounds trivial but I'm not able to copy and paste an image into a QV document. I checked the demos on the start page and found out that you can "place" an image file into a text object [*-)], but copy-paste just does not work. Am I missing something?

Hello,

please go to New sheet object => Text object => General Tap and look for Background and choose Image.

Use Image Stretch for sizing options.

Copy-Paste will not do the job. You have to access the TextObject properties:

- right-click on the created TextObject and choose 'Properties'

OR

create a new Text Object and the properties dialog will be automatically displayed

- in the 'General' tab, under the 'Background' section you can select if the text object background is a simple 'Color' or an 'Image'. In this case, choose 'Image'

- the button 'Change...' should now be activated. Click on it and choose the desired image using the new opened browse dialog.
