Not able to create log file using VB macro in QlikView

Hi,

I am trying to use VB macro to log but i am not even able to create a logfile.

Here is my code

Function WriteToFile (Content, FileName)

    Dim fso, MyFile

    CONST ForAppending = 8

    Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")

    Set MyFile = fso.OpenTextFile(FileName, ForAppending, True)

   MyFile.Write (Content)

   MyFile.Close

End function

and  I call it from QliKView Like this

let y = WriteToFile ('$(vDetails)', '$(_LogFile)');

I tried to put to a MsgBox inside the VB macro to see if it opens up but even msg box did not show up.

What is going on here?
