Hi,
I just upgraded Qlikview from Nov 2017 to Nov 2018, and 'Export to CSV' now has delimiter as semicolon instead of comma as below, which causes Excel not renders the output properly. I wonder if anyone experiences the same issue, and know how to change delimiter back to comma? Thank you!
Hi,
How are you exporting to CSV?
Right click>Export?
Hi Hopkinsc,
I view the app on Ajax client, and yes Just Right Click - Export.
Thanks in advance,
San
I have just upgraded my version from Nov 2017 (where the delimiter was comma) to Nov 2018 and the delimiter is still a comma...
Funny,
With Santonien,
Windows Server 2012r2 states list separator being "," (comma) in Regional settings and in RegEdit
Also, PowerShell command returns comma:
PS H:\> (Get-Culture).TextInfo.ListSeparator ,
One notable change is that double quotes have disappeared from the .csv file.
Is there an option to force comma as a field delimiter?
Cheers,
Marko
Hi @santonien,
Where are you seeing an option to choose the delimter from the client?
I have tried from only the client, i will publish the QVW and try from a web server shortly though and let you know the results.
Hi @hopkinsc,
Please see screenshots below for Export functionality between Client Tool vs Ajax Client.
Hi @hopkinsc, @mhallikainen,
FYI, I just added UseIcuForLocaleInfo=0 into Setting.ini file, and it seems to solve the problem.
Cheers,
San
