On Post Reload trigger on Qlikview Server not working

Hi,

Here is my issue.  I know that the "On Post Reload trigger" does not work on Qlikview server (i think by design) which makes no sense for me because it could be useful but anyway.

What I need to do is to select in field (in a list) a value equal to a variable set in the script when reloading.  It is a default As of Date that I want to be selected on my calendar dates.  At first I put a select in field on the On Post Reload trigger but now I know that it won't work on Qlikview server.

How can I do that with standard functionnalities of Qlikview?

I saw people who run a batch file to force a reload by Qlikview Desktop instead of Server but I don't want to use this kind of solution.  It should be easy to accomplish that with Qlikview without batch files!

Thanks for your help!

Patrick

If I close Internet Explorer then reopen, the On Open trigger works in Ajax!

It is my plan B but did not tried yet if this trigger is working.  Does this one will work?

But I wanted that if a user is already logged in the app that when it refreshed it would be refreshed with my new date.

Do you know a solution?

Thanks!

I just tried the on open trigger and this trigger works on the server.

Maybe when the server reloads the app then the AccessPoint refresh and it triggers the on open trigger?

Is it possible (with Ajax or Qlikview plugin)?

I will do some test and see what happens and I will post the results.

Thanks!

OnOpen should not work in Ajax(according to the manual), but it works in some SRs.

Works in Plugin.

Maybe you are right Jerry "OnOpen should not work in Ajax(according to the manual)".

What are my options????

Thanks!
