On-demand app extension's field binding error..

hey guys i'm using the following expression that works on server for On-demand app creation.

in this extension i added measure as sum of one measure from my table but its showing following error in that..

ERROR: 'no bind expressions of the form $(od_FIELDNAME) in On-demand app's script match fields in this app.'

please help me solve it

where did you use the variable which you mentioned?  in designer?
