Can we restrict only one value to be selected from the listbox .....????
Hi Stefan,
Well spotted. You are right, I don't think if there is a way to control this by using expression. I have used this expression within data islands to replicate the UI functionality of "Always one selected" feature. And I have stored the selected values in the variable to use them within my data model. But I don't think it will be relevant solution in this case. Sorry guys, my mistake for misunderstanding.
Thanks again.
Cheers,
DV
Hi Deepak,
I’ve implemented your solution in our project. However I have 4-5 sheets needs to be implemented the same function. I’ve created similar scripts for different sheets with different way.
The problem is, when I move from sheets those functions are implemented, activated sheets select actions do not work. When I move from other sheets it works. So, there must be script running problem. Activated sheet’s script may be running at the same time with the previous sheet’s deactivate script. That might be the reason for triggers do not operate as expected in such cases.
I'm not experienced in scripts in qlikview. But If we can delay the triggers somehow I think we can avoid this situation.
So What is your suggestion for implementing this solution for multiple sheets and multiple list boxes inside these sheets?
Hi Deepak,
would AGGR(Year,Year) do the same thing?

Alan
Hi,
Actually instead of removing selections, I simply hide the fields that I don't want them to be visible to the user.
This document tells how to do it.
Thanks.
Hi Jagan,

Hi Krishna,
I used Field Event Triggers in
Settings -> Document Properties -> Triggers -> Field Event Triggers -> On Select - Add Actions ->
Add -> Select -> Select in Field
Give Year as Field and Search string as
=If(GetSelectedCount(Year), Max(Year))
Hope this helps you.
Regards,
Jagan.
thank you very much Jagan Its working.
Thanks,
krishna.
I know its too late, but to the benefit of others:
