Open pdf document in webview

I am trying to open a document a pdf document by clicking a trigger button

It works fine in the app but not in webview.

Do i have to change some options to make this possible ?

I know this was asked before, but i did not find a suitable answer.

There are no options you can set in your QlikView environment. It is entirely dependent on the browser and how it handles links to "external" documents and how these associations are set up. It might be that it is a smart and simple way of using the built-in PDF-support that the Chrome browser actually has. But that requires that all your users use Google Chrome.

By web view you mean the access point or the web view in the desktop client?

Check the path to the pdf as well, what is accessible from your desktop, might not be accessible from the server
