PDF Distribution : pdf in e-mail body

Hi experts,

I have a report currently distributed in PDF by email from Publisher.

But the requirement is to receive the report as part of the email body, so they will have less clicks.

Is there anyway to do that with QlikView? If not, any alternate workaround?

Hi Anjali,

Using QlikVIew PDF distributor, I guess it is not flexible and robust to have the report as mail body.

You can attach the pdf in the mail. For example if the report contains some filter which would generate multiple pages for graphs or tables then the mail body script will become hectic.

     Thanks for your efforts but I want to send the data on triggering of task and not on any alert.

Hi Anjali,

It can be done only through macros. Else use the pdf attachment. Might be with Nprinting it would be possible.

I believe rather not - but maybe a tool like NPrinting could be do such things.

in Alert setting you can write below expression in Condition

=ReloadTime()=now()

So when application will reload alerts will send an email
