Parentheses in Current selections

Hi all,

I am passing parameters to QlikView through URL and the format is

&select=LB01,("USA"|"CAN")

The current selections box also shows parentheses along with the selected values so the current selections is as follows.

Geo = ("USA"|"CAN")

Can I remove these parentheses?
