Pervasive ODBC works manually but not on server

All,

I am attempting to pull data out of Pervasive DB (Sage Platinum for Windows) and it works well enough when running on the desktop.  But when publisher, the ODBC connection is failing.  The pub is on the same machine as the desktop and I using the service account to develop so that can't be the issue.

Has anyone had experience with this and why would there possibly by a difference in this case between running the script on the desktop vs the server considering it is same machine and same user?

Any ideas would help.

We ended up NOT extracting from Pervasive directly into QlikView due to all the issues.

IT ended up creating extracts into SQL and then we load from SQL into QlikView.  Not sure what that process was.

Out of curiosity, does anyone has tested the Pervasive JDBC driver with our QlikView JDBC Connector? Maybe this could solve the server connectivity..

Hi Ralf,

Would it work? A QV 11.2 SR8 with a Pervasive JDBC driver and a connection throught to your QlikView JDBC connector?

I cannot find a solution for Pervasive v9 db and Qlikview version 11.2 SRx
