Pivot table custom format by merging dimensions

Hello everyone,

I have a Pivot table with two dimensions and I need to merge the two dimension in one column and maintain the hierarchy.

Is there a way to do that in Qlikview?

I have the left side and I want to display the same information as it's shown in the right side.

Thanks in advance,

Daniel

Try "Indent Mode" under Style tab.

It´s not exactly you want, but maybe fit your need

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

I want to display the merge in one column. Also I can have up to five levels in the hierarchy and I will still have five columns, but I need something like this:

Group1

- Sub1

- Sub2

   - SubSub1

   - SubSub2

       - SubSubSub1

Best regards,

Daniel

Best way would be doing it at script level, creating new fields to use as dimension

Or you can create Calculated Dimensions (Dim1&Dim2 for example) into your graph to create what you need

With calculated dimensions, like [Group]&[Sub Group], how do I display the [Group] to totals?

Best,

Daniel

You add

Group Dimension and [Group]&[Sub Group]  too.

At presentation tab, you can choose which dimensions should summarize

But then I have two columns again right?

[Group] and [Group]&[Sub Group]

Best regards,

Daniel

Hi,

Thanks!

The idea then is to create a Data Island with all the combinations I need with the combined dimensions right?

Best regards,

Daniel

Not a Data Island, you will need a key (or a composite one) to your fact table
