Pivot table horizontal scrolling disabled

Hello,

I'm using a Pivot table to display a detailed report for the users. I have around 20+ fields to be displayed. I have added all the fields as dimensions and then one field (Eg. Sum of notional) as the expression field. All works fine for me as expected. I'm able to group by the dimension fields which is really good.

The only issue I have is that as I expand to view the row data my Pivot table expands horizontally making my screen grow bigger. Instead I would like to keep the Pivot table width fixed but add a horizontal scrollbar automatically as the fields get expanded. This works for a table box but a table box cannot be used for grouping.

Im using QlikView 10 and there is no way I can add the dimensions as expressions which will display a horizontal scrollbar because it displays wrong information.

Cheers

RC

Uncheck "Chart Properties -> Layout -> Size to Data".

Another option (works best in Ajax view) is to just add the pivot table to a container. This will not allow it to grow. This however has some issues in desktop
