You can set an expression for the TOTAL label on presentation tab.

BUT, this expression will be evaluated once for the chart, not for every dimension value of your first dimension.

So I don't think it's possible to use the first dimension as total label for the partial sum of the second dimension.

Looks like you have a pivot table with region and district as dimentsions and you are currently getting subtotals at region level

If I understand, instead of the word 'Total' at the region break, you want the region name there (like in your attachment)?

This pivote table has two dimension one region and one is district and we calculate value. and have partial sum with respect to district. now my requirement is each partial sum level should show region name.

on the presentation tab , there is a field for label totals - whatever you palce in that field will be used in place of the word 'Total'.

The only issue is I placed the dimesnion Region in the field and it will not place region name there ...

swuehl - any ideas along this path??
