So that by performing those activity and by doing data modelingI can get some confidence in Qlikview development.

Hi dhiraj,

there's a manual that you can download from the webSite - or tutorial, I don't know, it's a while ago...

A book I can recommend to you is "QlikView 11 for Developers". There you'll get a lot of ideas and it will get you quite far - this community, of course, is another excellent source of ideas.

Hi, Dhiraj.

In addition to DataNibbler's suggestion there is also the 'QlikView for Developers' Cookbook by Stephen Redmond which was published a few months ago. It has step by step instructions on how to complete certain scenarios.

Hey Dhiraj,

you could also try working on the sample qlikview documents you can find on:

  http://eu.demo.qlik.com/

these are demo apps you can play with.

Thanks for your suggestion.

I suggested, please start the building qvw on your own personal life.

For example, please start with your bank statements & credit card statements and start developing your own KPI's

This what I did and I learned lot of new things while practicing.

Hi, Dhiraj.

Another option is to try and answer questions raised on this forum, particularly those that attach an example. You raise your profile, help other users and learn something yourself all at the same time  🙂

Neil
