Problem in ODBC extraction, it doesn't extracts all the records.
Hi!
I'm using QlikView 10, and I already conected it to a Progress Database using an ODBC, but when I extracted all the records of a table, it only showed me the first 100 records, when the table has over 2,000,000. I already tried the extraction with another program (Crystal Report), and worked fine, showing me all the 2,000,000. It's a Qlikview problem, or it can be anything else?
(Sorry for my poor english grammar!!)

"Column DMO_REFERENCIA (the row name) in table PUB.DETMOVIN has value exceeding its max length or precision"
This IS your problem! I have seen this with a few of my customers using Progress.
the precending LOAD statement masks the problem and you will get no error (but instead an incomplete record set). I think this should be fixed by Qliktech. I have seen similar problems with other ODBC drivers (not getting an error when using a precending load on your SQL statement, but without the precending LOAD you will see the error).
The problem with progress is that it is possible to store values larger then then precision, ODBC will crash on that.
Ask the Progress administrator to fix the column precision (or the value causing the problem). I don't know how to do that, I am not a Progress DB administrator.
Kind Regards,
