Problem with document refresh

Hi all,

I have a problem with one report. It refreshes all the time.

When i want to navigate in a table for example with the scroll bar, the scroll comes back to its initial position.

If I publish the report on our web server, all the elements refresh every second.

Can anybody help me please???

Thx 😉

Greg

Hi All,

I found the solution and effectively, the responsible was the function Now().

I used this function on the "OnActivate" trigger of my sheet in order to put the current year as default value in a field.

As the function Now() changes every second, my sheet refreshed...

Thanks for your help Kaushik and Paul ;-))

HI,

What do you mean by element.

I am possibly miles out with this suggestion but...

On the layout tab you will find a "Preserve Scroll Position" tick box.

If you tick this it may stop the scroll bar returning...

Hello Grégory,

Note that Now() accepts parameters, Now(0) refers to the load script execution time and Now(2) shows when the document was opened, and in both cases the function does not "refresh". Now(1) is the default, and refreses every second.

Apart from that, you can create a variable in the script that stores the current year and refer to this value later in run time.

Regards.
