Hello,
I just decided to upgrade my version from QV 10 SR1 to QV 10 SR3.
Once I did upgrade to the new version I have noticed few differences in my exports (when I use the option in every table for export).
Befor the update I was getting the export devided in 6 different Sheets (as I have almost 400 000 records), but now I get them all at one sheet. I have office 2007 - didn't do any changes to anythign else in the past few days, so it should be due to the QV upgrade I made.
Second mager difference I noticed was that all my cyrillic chars are transfered in the export as (?). This is the big problem that need to be solved, so I can begin using my program again and make the exports I need.
It will be helpfull if anyone has any idea how to fix this problem. I tryed to change the options in User Preferences, but no metter is ASCII, UNICODE or UNI-8 I used as encoding I get the same problems with the cyrillic chars.

Just to clear some of my mistakes:
for the encodings I ment:
ANSI
Unicode
UTF-8
Also I tryed enableing and disableing the Use Regional Settings for Send to Excel.
No difference.
Just ddi un update to the problem: it seems that the problem with the cyrillic came not because of the upgrade to a newer version of QV, but because the export is bigger then 65536 lines, and is not split into 6 sheets like befor.
I tested it and once I got the export to be below this limit all went perfectly like befor. Hope to find a solution that will help me keep the option to be able to make export in 1 sheet, and still have the cyrillic chars unchanged.

Hello,
I still have this error and have no idea how to fix it. Is there anyone who could help me ix the problem?
Also a problem that I notice is that the export is shorter then the actual amount of records in the table that I try to export. 270 000 out of 310 000.
I am not sure if this is related in any way, but hope you could help out.

Some more UPDATES to my situation.
I noticed that the problem comes from the fact that from time to time it does the exports into csv and not xls/xlsx, so that is why the cyrillic is not workign, but the problem remains that I can not control it what kind of export to do in excel or csv.

Here is the qnswer to my question:
1. The problem with the cyrillic chars not showing in the export is due to the fact theat it does not export the table in excel format anymore, but in a csv format.
2. There are no multiple tabs for the excel export as it is no longer excel export.
3. If I figure out a way to control the exports and what type of exports to do, I will be abel to get it all fixed.
Here is the new question I have:
How can I control what type of export to do? I have looked into the help and into the options, but didn't find any way to set what exports to do.
Thanks and hope this time someone will help me with my issue.
