Publish Qlik view dashboard with Google Account

Hello,

I am new to Qlik View and very less IT background.

Any one can open the below link and it will show a qlik view dashboard.

http://us-b.demo.qlik.com/QvAJAXZfc/opendoc.htm?document=qvdocs%2FSalesforce.qvw&host=demo11

Similarly i need to provide a link to sales person to show the sales dashboard to the customers. However, they can open only using their google account.

I have with me Qlik view server installed, which i can use only inside the company (intranet).

What is the solution?

Regards,

Naeem

Can you provide a VPN connection to your sales staff so they can access the intranet server?

Qlik is running a special IAS-type server at Amazon AWS for which no authentication is needed to access documents. Ordinary mortals (like me) have to try with standard products. AFAIK Qlik is not in the business of hosting QlikView documents (yet).

There is no DSC for authentication based on Google accounts, so you may have to write your own, or enter the google account data in a small database and configure a Custom Directory or a Configurable ODBC. Add another web server to your companies DMZ and let it connect to the QlikView Server (tunelling).

OR, try to find a QlikView hosting party that will rent you some space and user accounts.

For Qlik Sense documents, there is a Cloud solution I think. Can you convert the QVW to a Qlik Sense document?

Exposing your QlikView server & documents with an external link is not something a non-IT person can set up. It requires knowledge and configuration of your company network, firewall and hardware resources. There is a not a setting in Qlik that you can jut turn on,

As Peter suggested, you may want to look for a company that offers QlikView hosting.
