QV 11.0 SR1 & IE 11 - Qlik Community

Hi Everyone

We are using old version of QlikView and would like to upgrade our IE browser to version 11. Will this work. does IE 11 has compatability mode that it can run in.

This is very old version of Qlik.

I suggest you to upgrade to 11.2 SR8

IE11 support was added from 11.20 SR5 onwards, so either you can upgrade to latest release or stay with the current setup.

IE 11 is not supported on QlikView v11.0

You will need to upgrade to v11.2 SR6 or later.

I am aware of all the recommendation. My question is will IE 11 work with our version in comparability mode. has anyone tested that.

You may tey but according to Reference manual of 11.0 sr1

IE supported versions are 6,7,8,9

You may try by switching to IE 11.

But there may exist some incompatibilities.

There are several known issues if you run IE11 on an unsupported version of QlikView - e.g. scroll bars are not displayed. Search the community for IE11.

You can use other browsers such as Chrome or Firefox.
