Should be this?

STORE q1 INTO $(QVDPath)\q1.qvd(qvd);

Hi,

Try to do below steps,

keep your excel file under excel folder and QVD files under QVD folder (let say in D drive) and make sure the file exists

SET vQVDPath = '..\QVD';

SET vXLSPath = '..\excel';

LOAD [Customer ID],

     [Product ID],

     [Customer Name],

     City,

     [Product Name],

     [Order Date],

     Sales

FROM $(vQVDPath)\q1.QVD (qvd);

q1:

LOAD [Customer ID],

     [Product ID],

     [Customer Name],

     City,

     [Product Name],

     [Order Date],

     Sales

FROM $(vXLSPath)\yearly sales.xlsx (ooxml, embedded labels, table is Sheet1);

STORE q1 into $(vQVDPath)\q1.QVD (qvd);

Thanks,

Deva
