QVW published on Access point is not reflecting new data on Update

Hi All,

I have published one QVW application on access point, and after publishing I updated some data and saved the application on server, but the same updated data is not getting reflected in published application.

Can anyone help me understand, as why the data is not getting updated on Access Point.

Regards,

Akshay

Hi Akshay,

Please confirm whether you have distributed the application using publisher or Published using only Qlikview Server.

Hi,

Please check the updated qvw application copied/saved in QV server mounted folder?

Mounted Folder path: QMC --> system --> Qlikview servers --> Folders

Please try deleting the .shared file from your user documents folder.

It may be because of cache dashboard is not updated in accesspoint.

I should not deleted the .shared file as a first action, this could cause you a lot a problems.

Instead make sure that when you change in the Application that no task is running in server at the same time.

Because when you save it will be overwritten by the task.

Hi Staffan,

Can you please let me know the root cause of this.

As when I am replacing the application(Present in -C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Documents) with updated application with same name, changes are reflected in Access Point. But when I try to modify the same application and save it the changes are not reflected.

Akshay
