QVWS & DSC Service not running in Server Migration activity.

Hi,

We are doing Server Migration from ServerA to ServerB, we have changed with new server name from old server name in ini & the XML of QVPR.

Here we have different Server for QlikView Access Point (QVWS)

Now QVWS & DSC Service not running it's says Server disconnected but at the same time QVW is running.

We have stopped all the services of old Server (ServerA)

Can anyone helyp me on this urgently as my Server Migration activity is stucked.

This status means that the QMS isn't able to talk to the DSC or QVWS services. Most common causes:

• Wrong configuration in the QMC. Do your definitions refer to the correct machine (Server B)?
  
• Permission problems because of those services running under a wrong or different account

The service logs usually contain an explanation of what's wrong. I suggest you open the QMS log file to see whether that service complains about not being able to reach either the DSC or the QVWS.

Here I have not done any setting in ServerB, I have just taken the Copy of the ini & QVPR file into ServerA & just changed the Server name.

Also would like to mention my QVS services is running which is taking from the other Server same way I think the rest services should run.

We are just trying to create the complete replica of ServerA nto ServerB.
