Hi there,
I am new to QlikView. Our QlikView server’s RAM keeps increasing up and our QVW's responce speed becomes very slow when it occupies most of the RAM. So I have to restart the QV services in a couple of weeks manually and I am sure it is not the best solution.
Does anybody have same experience? Any idea?
Yuji
What QlikView does is perform calculations in real time from data loaded into RAM.
I suspect what you are experiencing is CPU resources being over utilised. When your users are effected by the slow performance what is happening with the CPU?

Hi Yuji,
I believe you have posted this in the wrong area as this is a QlikView Server question.
However in response, QlikView Server is designed to use as much RAM (up to Working Set limits) as needed by the application.
The following have direct influence on the performance of QlikView:
Kind Regards,
Clint
Thank you for your quick responce.

There are many factor that influence server performance.
The application design can be a big influence. A poorly designed application can use excessive RAM and run slowly.
Does the data model have synthetic keys?
Can you post an image of the data model from the table viewer?
Do the expressions include "if" statements rather than set analysis?
Hi Colin,
Apologies not to get back to you any earlier, I have been away from community for long.

Thanks a lot for your kind respond.
Best regards,
