Hi Qlik Enthusiast!,
I would just like to know, if you had any ideas for Partial Sum in Qlik Sense Straight table for a specific Column,
Please see picture below
!
Thanks in Advance!
For your requirement,
You can create a separate column and use the total qualifier. Like so,
Sum(total <[Merchandise Category]> [Net Sales]).
This will create a separate column showing partial sums.
Hi,
the is no partial sum on the straight table, but you can use set analysis to solve this.
did you use set analysis before ?
Hello, what I mean is apply the same format of the above report.
Is there any other way to replicate the format above?
TIA
with the object properties, you can't, but one way to do this is maybe using expressions with set analysis and valuelist on the dimension
would you be able to attach sample data to be able to test what I suggested above ?
Lee,
A "P&L" format table is not possible in straightforward way. Pivot table in QlikView has a partial sums option.
If you're o.k. with showing partial sums in another column, you can use the TOTAL qualifier.
Hi Vishnu,
Thank you for your answer although, I think in Qlik Sense there is no option for Partial Sums yet.
Might took a while to update it. But Im hoping they will include it, since many Qlik View clients planned to migrate to Qlik Sense, but in terms of functionality QlikView still offers a lot, other than QLik Sense
Regards,
Lee
